Watermelon is produced from May to September on 150 hectares of land divided between 90 hectares of polytunnels and 60 hectares of open field.
The product is harvested in May and June in the tunnels, and July, August and September in the field.
Our production amounts to approximately 9 million kilos per season. The product is harvested in the field and packaged in the warehouse in cardboard or wooden boxes, depending on the customer’s requirements.
Our management of watermelon production is based on the following ripening cycles:
– 90-95 days from transplant to harvest in May and June;
– 75-80 days from transplant to harvest in July, August and September.
