Bunch carrots are produced from November to May.
Harvest is in the open field from November to December and in polytunnels from January to May, coinciding with the start of open field production from late April to May.
Our production amounts to approximately 6 million bunches, grown in cyclical rotation on 100 hectares, divided into 50 hectares of open field and 50 of tunnels.
The crop is harvested in the field and processed in our factory, with weights variable on the basis of the customer’s requirements, either loose in bunches or in micro-perforated flowpacks.
Our management of bunch carrot production is based on the following ripening cycles:
– 80-95 days from sowing to harvest in autumn;
– 110-125 days from sowing to harvest in winter;
– 130-140 days from sowing to harvest in early spring;
– 110-120 days from sowing to harvest in May.
